Welcome to Geppetto’s Beach Foodies! We are self professed foodies who have always loved to eat, cook and entertain family and friends. Food has been a second career for both my husband and myself. After leaving our professional and corporate careers, we purchased a quaint little ice cream business on Sanibel Island in 2007, Pinocchio's Original Italian Ice Cream. Together with our daughter Stephanie, our family grew the brand which has evolved into a Sanibel tradition and destination landmark. We still own the brand today. We opened a second business in 2012 and named it Geppetto's Beach Foodies, A little market and bakery offering gourmet grab and go beach cuisine which is representative of streetfood you may find in metropolitan areas of NYC, Paris, towns in Tuscany, Italy and other food meccas that have been part of our wonderful global travels. Read about some of the recipes and foods we cherish in our blog www.HUNGRYFOODERATI.COM.  Geppetto’s Beach Foodies combines our passion for good food with our love of Sanibel and Captiva Island. 

 

During this time, we created unique pastries called the SANIBEL BLOSSOM(C) which is the croissant muffin that is 1/3 cinnamon, 1/3 strawberry cheese and 1/3 chocolate. We also created and sold over the years a popular two-bite croissant called CRODOLES (R). These are Croissant Donut Holes offered in both sweet and savory flavors. Both SANIBEL BLOSSOM (C) and CRODOLES (R)  are unique to the Geppetto's brand and to the Puma Family who own the registered trademark and copyrights.

 

Sadly, Geppetto's Beach Foodies is closed. Any business at the Seahorse Shopping Center offering pastries is not affiliated with Geppetto's Beach Foodies and is not authorized to offer SANIBEL BLOSSOMS (C), CRODOLES (R) or any other Geppetto's Beach Foodies recipes. We look forward to offering our unique pastries and beach food to the public again in the future.
